Compensation for Delayed Flights Announced

According to the new regulation published in the Official Gazette, passengers will be compensated for flights delayed by three hours or more due to operational and technical reasons. Under the decision, passengers experiencing delays on domestic flights will be compensated 100 euros, while for international flights, compensation will range from 250 euros to 600 euros.

The amount of compensation will vary depending on the distance of the flight and the length of the delay.

This new measure aims to protect the rights of passengers and holds airlines more accountable for delays.

The regulation applies to all airlines and is seen as an important step toward addressing passenger grievances.
